Promoting Health & Wellness

United Way of Indian River County’s unique ability to bring people and resources together forges smart, strategic solutions to our community's most critical needs. These solutions not only solve problems, but also prevent them. Through our partner agencies, the United Way is committed to supporting and promoting health and wellness for all members of our community. Many of the programs supported by the United Way focus on medical, dental and mental health issues including the issues surrounding substance abuse.  These organizations can be there for people in times of crisis, providing essential help and referrals.

The Mental Health Association Crisis Line, 562-2000 is still the first call for help for individuals living in the county who are in crisis.
