Thank you to all of our volunteers that helped make our vision of changing lives in the community a reality!
United Way’s annual Day of Caring is the largest one day community-wide volunteer event in our community.
The 2017 Day of Caring took place on Saturday, October 14.
This year, the Annual Day of Caring connected a record number of volunteers – more than 1000 – with local nonprofit organizations serving Indian River County, from Ft. Pierce to Gifford, helping complete much needed projects. Volunteer work included a variety of activities including painting, gardening, landscaping, assisting the local food bank, assembling hygiene care kits for the homeless, building a new Born Learning Trail and much more!
